Partnership/Affiliation Guide
There are two types of association with ReThink Foundation, Inc. or Gloryhouse International Church. They are Partnership and Affiliation.
1. Partnership – This is an agreement between your ministry and ReThink Foundation, Inc. or Gloryhouse International Church based on mutual interest. You maintain your name and leadership. You are independent and autonomous. You are self-governing and have your own programs but you only report to us for us to know what you are doing. We can make recommendations when necessary upon your request.
2. Affiliation – This is when you decide to become a member body of ReThink Foundation, Inc. or Gloryhouse International Church. We adopt your ministry and recognize you as a branch. You then adopt our name but maintain your leadership and programs. You report to us so that we can make recommendations when necessary. You also enjoy certain benefits from us after evaluating your work for three months. The benefits range from monthly stipend to raising missionary offering for special projects.
Requirements
1. A Pastor – The ministry/church should have a recognized pastor or overseer of the flock for spiritual nourishment and discipleship.
2. Meetings – The ministry/church should have regular weekly meetings where the Bible is taught.
3. Membership – The ministry/church should have at least twenty-five committed members who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior.
4. Leadership – The ministry/church should have a form of church government in place consisting of a pastor, an elder or deacon and a secretary meeting regularly for prayer and decision making.
5. Bylaws – The ministry/church should have a written guidelines, bylaws, or policies to govern them.
6. Accountability – The ministry/church should keep records of attendance, membership and bank account records of their tithes and offerings.
7. Statement of Faith – The ministry/church should have a statement of faith.
