George and Florence pioneered and co-foundered the Floodgates World Missions (Floodgates Destiny Chapel) in Mankessim, Ghana in April 1994. The church was officially inaugurated on June 4, 1995. The mission was one of total and absolute obedience parallel to none other than Abraham’s call in Genesis 12 and Paul’s Macedonian call in Acts 16:9. George had an unusual encounter with the Lord in 1992 during his Bible School training at the All Nations For Christ Bible Institute in Benin City, Nigeria. It was a vision of a strong man (the devil) throwing the children and the youth of that region into a huge oven. After serving as a pastor/missionary/evangelist with Manna Mission Church for a while he was released in April 1994 for the next level of his. That same year George and Florence with youth exuberance launched out with God’s Battle Axe to this historical ancient marketing town to change the destiny of the youth. They quickly started five other satellite churches in the neighboring community. The church was labeled under-seven church because it was made up of children and youth. Today, to the glory of God many have completed tertiary education and are pastors, missionaries, trained teachers, nurses, self-employed business men & women, police personnel and other good paying jobs all over in Ghana.

George’s missionary trip to Kenya, East Africa in 2003 set the foundation for the Floodgates Destiny Chapels in South Nyanza Providence. The churches were officially registered in 2004 with the government.
